Always walking between worlds. Always an open ear.

I’ve been fortunate to live a charmed life, to live and work across the globe. Ever have I found myself in the mutable, in-between places, one foot in each world. Sometimes of the world, but not in it; other times in the world, but not of it.

I grew up in Sydney, but was always trying to leave. I’ve marched with the antifascistas in Meloni’s Rome. Caught dengue fever in Indonesia. Traced the steps of the British Romantics across Western Europe. Practiced combat sports in Thailand. Shovelled snow in the Swiss Alps. Worked for soulful startups and megacorps, always doing my best to stay earnest and quirky.

My head’s full of folklore, myths, and memorised poetry. I was moulded by authors like Brontë, Shelley, Brodsky, and Tolkien. Raised by global cities like Utrecht, Rome, Auckland, Arhus.

I’m either drinking tap water, or sustainably sourced specialty coffee. Eleven years ago, I went vegan. Currently, you’ll find me dwelling in a cottage at the edge of the woods, in the Irish countryside.
